Common questions
How do I fit corner protectors?
Clean and dry the surface, peel the adhesive backing, then press the protector firmly into place and hold for a few seconds so the adhesive bonds.
Will they mark my furniture when removed?
Most come away cleanly from household surfaces. On painted or delicate finishes, warm the adhesive with a hair dryer for a minute or two first, then peel from one side. Test on a hidden spot if unsure.
L-shaped or round corner guards?
L-shaped covers sit along the two edges of a square corner. Round and ball-shaped covers enclose the whole tip. Several packs, such as the Avigers 21 pack and the Peakally 30 pack, include both shapes.
Clear or foam?
Clear guards (silicone or PVC) keep the look of your furniture. Foam guards and strips are thicker: for example the Shinfly strip is 8 mm foam and the Moonybaby door guards are 2 cm EVA foam.
Do they replace supervision?
No. They soften accidental bumps but don't replace watching a baby or toddler around furniture, doors and stairs.
